In The Beginning ..... The Springs !
 
Important subject matter here because without these 3 springs my life would be very different and you wouldn't be looking at this website :)  ! The springs are what make Elk Springs special .....
 
I will be adding more pictures and some stories about the springs to this page as time goes along .
 
                                                          The Main Spring of the Elk !
This spring , which is also referred to as the Big Spring puts out an incredible volume under full flows !! After all these years the sheer volume of water still impresses me !

                                                                                  The Middle Spring 
                                           This is by far the smallest of the three but as you can see below it still produces a lot of water !

The combined flows of the upper two springs form what is referred to here as the Primeval . It is a place of ice cold water , scuds & of course trout ...

The Moss Falls !
This short , beautiful piece of water connects the Primeval with the Mill Pool 

Might be a few scuds in that moss :)
