A Look At "Disneyland"
This page will give newcomers and Elk"o"holics alike a place to come take a look at , visit and learn more about the best of the best . Disneyland is what we have for years called the stretch from the Claybank up to the Primeval . This is the coldest section of the river , has by far the largest population of fish and receives probably 75+% of the total fishing pressure here . Within this short stretch are moss covered runs , large deep holes , long glides and excellant pocket water . Insect populations are extreme as are populations of scuds . Whatever your pleasure you can find it here with one exception ..... solitude ! You WILL have company here so expect it , accept it and you never know you might even find out that there are worse things in life then a bunch of like minded individuals sharing an awesome section of river .....

spring down to the Mill Pool . This section is very unique . It is almost completely moss covered in some places and a mixture of gravel and sand in others . The moss is saturated with nymphs and scuds making the Primeval a very fertile feeding area ...
